Victory Christian School was founded in 1984, when the people of Victory Baptist Church felt the need to provide a good Christian education for the children of our church.  Over the years, this ministry has expanded and now reaches many children from all parts of our community.

Just as the first American schools were founded in the local church, it is our belief that it is the responsibility of God's people to educate our children both academically and Spirtually.  It is our goal to provide students with a quality education in a Christian environment.
We strive to maintain excellence in every area of academics, while emphasizing Christian character, Spiritual growth, and loyalty to God and our country.  Our staff is well trained in the curriculum and devoted to the students.  We believe that each child is a life to be molded; that they are special to God, and special to us.
Our Mission:
Our Beliefs:

Since Victory Christian School is a ministry of Victory Baptist Church, the school embraces and teaches the doctrine of the Independent Baptist faith.  Our beliefs are as follows:
*  We believe in the verbal inspiration and authority of the King James Bible.  We require our students to memorize portions of the Scripture on a regular basis.  We recognize no other version of the Bible.

*  We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  We believe in the virgin birth, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

*  We believe that salvation is by grace alone.  The conditions to salvation are repentance and faith.

*  We believe in the personal, pre-millineal return of Jesus Christ.

*  We believe in heaven as the eternal destination of the saved, and hell as the eternal destination of the lost.

These beliefs are contained in our curriculum and taught regularly in the classroom and in weekly chapel services
Our Curriculum:
We firmly believe in the School of Tomorrow Curriculum (formerly known as Accelerated Christian Education or ACE), which is used in grades 1 - 12.  Our staff has completed the required training elements for this curriculum and attends educational seminars when possible.

The School of Tomorrow Curriculum is an individualized training program which allows the child to work at his/her appropriate level under close supervision.  This provides an advantage over the traditional classroom situation, where every student is presented with the same lessons.  Often there will be several students who don't comprehend quite as well as others.  For these students, learning may become difficult, since the class moves ahead whether or not all students have mastered the lesson.  On the other hand, some students may have better comprehension than others, and may need to be moving at a faster pace that the rest of the class.  Our curriculum requires that the student master the lesson before moving ahead, and also allows those who learn faster to excel at a faster pace.

We have often had students enroll in our school who were having trouble in the traditional classroom setting and some who were even "failing".  These students do quite well in our curriculum and often "make up" a failed grade, and even excel in their academics.

We require excellence in all basic courses, such as Math, English, Social Studies, Science, History, and Word Building (spelling), as well as reading comprehension programs.  Bible is also taught daily and memorized as part of the regular academic schedule.  We offer advanced Math and Sciences, foreign language and other electives for high-school students wishing to obtain a College-Preparatory Diploma.
